The Go Mask is a washable and reusable fabric mask for every day. A water-resistant outer layer keeps sprays and droplets from seeping into the mask too quickly. The mask is designed to be used with a filter for protection against bacterial and viral aerosols.
To ensure a snug fit, the Go Mask includes a nose wire, ear loops, and ties. The ties make the mask customizable to different sizes and provide the best comfort for long wear. The included cord stoppers make it easy to adjust the ties for a fit that lasts, keeping the mask snug during the day.
We named our masks the Go Masks because our company was born out of a desire to GO and DO GOOD.(javascript:void(0))
Hnad wash with soap mask and cord stoppers before first use. Follow our illustrated HOW TO USE GUIDE (undefined)and check out our video TUTORIAL (javascript:void(0))for proper use of the Go Mask.
The USE GUIDE is also in other languages: SPANISH (undefined)and CHINESE.(undefined)
HELPFUL TIPS:
• To ensure that the water-resistant layer faces out, note that the nose wire is sewn into the outer layer.
• Pre-mold the wire to shape of nose before wear for a closer fit.
• Since everyone's shape and size is different, it is IMPORTANT that you use the ties to completely secure the mask to your face. The included cord stoppers make it easy to adjust the ties for fit. Ties also provide the best comfort for all day wear. Keep stoppers on ties through wear and wash for ease.
• Mask can also be used without the cord stoppers if desired. Simply place mask on face using ear loops, then knot the ties behind head and neck to tighten mask to face.

We offer two sizes, Medium and Large, on the Go Masks. A Medium is 8" x 6" and a Large is 9" x 7". To estimate fit, you can measure face from ear to ear over nose bridge. We suggest that a width of 9"-11" fit a Medium and 11"+ fit a Large.
We observe that Mediums generally fit a youth and an average size woman and Larges an average size man. Because of the ties and stoppers, the Go Masks are highly customizable to a range of sizes.
Wash mask and cord stoppers before first use. Dry thoroughly. After each use, dispose of the filter. Hand wash with soap is sufficient to sanitize the mask and preserves the mask best. Stoppers should stay on the ties through wash for ease of wear next time.
**Please note that by design the ties are not sewn into the masks to allow for flexible fit. Please keep the stoppers on the ties or knot the ties loosely during wash to prevent the ties from coming off. Should the ties come off, you can put them back through the channels using a yarn needle or similar tool.
The Go Mask is designed to be used with a filter (not included). It is recommended that you use HEPA (High-efficiency particulate air) grade filters. Here (https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/best-diy-coronavirus-homemade-mask-material-covid/)is a helpful article on the filtration levels of 30 filter materials, including many household items. Per the article, houshold items like coffee filter and paper towel are easy-to-get filter options. After choosing your filter material, cut to size 7" x 5" to fit the Medium and 7.5" x 6" the Large Go Mask. Put filter through the top openings of the mask and ensure it covers the whole mask.
As noted by the Center for Disease Control, face masks with filters provide only one level of protection against COVID-19. Be sure to learn and follow the latest recommendations on their website.(https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html)
No, a fabric mask cannot replace the efficacy of a N95 respirator. As recommended by the Center for Disease Control,(https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover.html) fabric masks can help contain respiratory droplets during everyday use to help curtail the spread of infectious disease and free up much needed medical grade equipment for healthcare workers.
As N95 respirators are in short supply, they need to be worn by people facing the highest risks such as doctors and nurses treating COVID-19. If you have unused N95 masks, please donate them to a local hospital.
